Mid-South Pro Tour Bull Riding Rodeo Finals Held During 41st Annual French Food festival

Mid-South Pro Tour Bull Riding Rodeo Finals will be held next to the festival's new, premier Midway Stage and begins at 4 PM on Saturday, October 25th and concludes around 6:30 PM. Cowboys and cowgirls 18 years old participate in the finals. There are anywhere between 15 to 30 finalist competing and competition is open to the public for a $60 entry fee.    Read More

FFF'S Glow Run Early Registration Deadline Oct 10

Dozens of runners will light up the night on Saturday, October 25 during the festival's Glow Run. They will use glow-in-the-dark paint, wigs, clothing and more! Registration is $25 & benefits Larose Civic Center and Lafourche Chamber of Commerce. The 7 PM start of the 3.2 mile race begins and ends at the Larose Library (next door to the civic center). The annual Fish the Bayou tournament is coming up this weekend, October 4, at the Larose Civic Center. The event, planned by the Dusty Richardel Memorial Foundation, supports the Louisiana Blue Collar Workforce with scholarships for local students. Join the fishermen as they weigh in their catches in 3 categories: Boat, Kayak, and Youth. Live music by Southern Cross, and the menu includes jambalaya, shrimp fettuccine and dessert.
